MAN O’ WAR NIGERIA NATIONAL COMMANDER’S VISIT TO RAILWAY COMMAND

“NC Adedamola Gbenga Emmanuel Reaffirms Vision of Safeguarding Nigerians Through Grassroots Security and Stakeholder Partnerships”

The National Commander of Man O’ War Nigeria, NC Adedamola Gbenga MIPM, MSR, MSS, on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, paid an official visit to the Railway Command in a move that aimed the organization’s renewed commitment to safeguarding lives and fostering security at the grassroots level. The visit marked a historic moment as he officially commissioned the newly established Command Secretariat, designed to serve as a hub for coordination and operational effectiveness.

In his remarks during the commissioning, the National Commander emphasized that the vision of Man O’ War Nigeria remains firmly rooted in strengthening security consciousness and community safety from the grassroots. According to him, national security can only be sustained when every community is empowered, trained, and actively involved in protecting lives and property.

The National Commander reiterated that the Railway Command plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of commuters, particularly in light of the growing challenges of insecurity across the transport sector. He noted that the new Secretariat will enhance collaboration, boost efficiency, and provide a stronger base for proactive responses to security threats within the railway corridors.

As part of the visit, the National Commander also met with key stakeholders who have consistently supported the vision and activities of Man O’ War Nigeria. Among those recognized were the Chairman of the Railway Command, Mr. Ben Iloanusi; the Deputy Director of Security, Mr. Abdul Malik; and the former Chairman, Mr. Niyi Ali. Their unflinching dedication was lauded as a pillar of strength in advancing the objectives of the Command.

While acknowledging their contributions, the National Commander stressed that partnerships between security agencies, community leaders, and stakeholders remain indispensable in the fight against insecurity. He called for continuous collaboration to create safer environments for Nigerians, especially at the grassroots where challenges are most felt.

He further highlighted that Man O’ War Nigeria’s strategy aligns with national efforts to combat insecurity by promoting youth training, civic responsibility, and leadership development. According to him, empowering young people at the grassroots not only prevents crime but also strengthens national unity and resilience.

The visit also served as a platform for the National Commander to inspire officers and men of the Railway Command to remain steadfast in discipline, commitment, and service to humanity. He urged them to uphold the values of loyalty, patriotism, and sacrifice in line with the organization’s ethos.

The commissioning of the new Secretariat and the engagements held during the visit reflect the National Commander’s vision of bringing security closer to the people. By focusing on grassroots safety and reinforcing stakeholder partnerships, Man O’ War Nigeria continues to position itself as a dependable force in safeguarding communities across the nation.
