NATIONAL COMMANDER MAN O’ WAR NIGERIA, NC ADEDAMOLA GBENGA, PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO RIVERS STATE MINISTRY OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
In a continued effort to strengthen collaboration and promote youth focused development across the country, the Man O’ War Nigeria National Commander, NC Adedamola Gbenga, MIPM, MSS, MSR, extended his official visit in Rivers State with a courtesy call to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Development, Mrs. Ruhuoma Chinedu Kejeh, at her office in Port Harcourt.
The visit formed part of his strategic engagements ahead of the 3rd National Camping Exercise being hosted in the state, aimed at fostering leadership training, discipline, and civic engagement among Nigerian youths.
During the visit, NC Adedamola Gbenga appreciated the Ministry’s pivotal role in promoting youth development within Rivers State, particularly through its policies and support structures targeted at harnessing the potential of young people for national growth.
He emphasized the shared vision between Man O’ War Nigeria and the Ministry in advancing values such as patriotism, responsible citizenship, and community service, which are critical in addressing the moral and social gaps affecting Nigerian youth today.
The National Commander also took the opportunity to introduce some of the ongoing and upcoming initiatives of Man O’ War Nigeria, especially those designed to complement the efforts of government agencies in youth training, empowerment, and volunteerism.
In her response, Mrs. Ruhuoma Chinedu Kejeh expressed delight at the visit, describing it as timely and significant. She noted that the Ministry recognizes the vital role Man O’ War plays in shaping disciplined and goal oriented youths through structured paramilitary and leadership programmes.
The Permanent Secretary assured the National Commander of the Ministry’s willingness to partner with Man O’ War Nigeria in future engagements, particularly in capacity building programmes that align with the Rivers State Government’s youth development agenda.
This visit further solidifies the growing alliance between governmental institutions working for the empowerment and transformation of Nigerian youth, and reaffirms Man O’ War Nigeria’s commitment to nation-building through grassroots impact.
